8 months ago(Translated by Google) A very popular place where it's difficult to find a table without a reservation if you're in a group. There were six of us, and the table assigned to us was quite cramped. The dishes offered a few new twists on the menu we're used to; the braised wontons with peanuts and the crab gnocchi were a great surprise. However, the flavors were overpowering, both in intensity and in the use of glutinous sauces. I found the dishes to be good for sharing, as a whole plate alone would be a bit cloying. We tried some more extreme options, such as the chicken feet in fermented soy sauce. They were good, but again, too rich in glutinous sauce, and eating a leg with your hands would definitely require a quick rinse in the bathroom. The egg-based clams, on the other hand, were completely bland; perhaps they didn't hold up to the saturation of the other dishes and should have been brought first, so the delicate flavor could be appreciated. It's not a dish I'd recommend, unlike the spicy cuttlefish with vegetables, which were cooked just right. Overall, an experience worth having to compare with other restaurants I've frequented so far. Prices are in line, but we ordered a lot of water and two beers, so I can't comment on whether they added wine. The Chinese grappas served at the end were very commercial. Grappe cinesi finali molto commerciali.

8 months agoWe came to Milan Chinatown looking for dinner on a warm summer Friday evening. We did not do our usual research on recommended restaurants and honestly just decided on this place based on some of the dishes we liked on the menu. There was not a wait and dishes were served promptly. We did not have high expectations and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the value for money. The xiaolongbao were pretty good, almost comparable to Dintaifung - we started with 1 and ended with 3 portions. Really liked the fried rice and braised pork belly. The squirrel fish was really well done as well. Highly recommended.
